This case-based workshop on Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR) is designed specifically for postdocs and assistant professors.

The workshop consists of presentations to responsible conduct of research in a Danish research setting and group discussions on the many grey areas within this field.

Former participants describe the workshop as highly relevant for their research due to the valuable group discussions on realistic dilemmas that can occur in research settings.

The cases in the workshop address challenges concerning:

  • Authorship and collaboration
  • Data acquisition and management
  • Conflict of interests
  • Research misconduct

Please note that each workshop will begin at 8.30. If you wish to have a coffee from one of the (free) coffee machines, please arrive 10-15 min early.

The Faculty has decided that it is compulsory for all postdocs and assistant professors to participate in the RCR workshop.

Please note that information regarding your participation (name, email and affiliation with the University of Copenhagen) is stored on University of Copenhagen databases and used internally at the University for statistics on workshop participation. Your email is used to send reminder-emails regarding this workshop and a follow-up evaluation survey to improve the quality of the workshop for future participants.
